Kaiyi Hu is a student publishing poetry for the first time. Having started writing poetry in middle school, Kaiyi is now a graduating high school student. Born in Shanghai, China, she has also lived in Japan and is currently studying in Canada. Kaiyi is a fan of the sci-fi genre, and likes to watch movies and read novels in her free time. Besides poetry, she creates art in the form of drawings and paintings. Kaiyi’s favourite place in the area is a second-hand bookstore, where she could easily spend an entire afternoon.
