Norah Foo is a brilliant and imaginative girl who loves bringing her imagination to the real world and writing it down. She has really good writing skills and never gives up no matter what.

When she is not writing, she enjoys swimming, skiing, skating, and tennis. Norah even knows how to play the Chinese dulcimer, or preferably the Yang qin. 

Norah dreams of becoming a marine biologist one day so she can explore marine life under the sea. 

She wrote this book, Beneath the Skin, while using her brilliant imagination. Overall, Norah is a great person and very good at writing books.
