This collection of poetry narrates the internal process of growing up, the gradual change from innocence and immaturity, to realization, to conflict and to peace. Some of the poems reminisce about childhood, some pondering the present world and some wondering what the future will be like. They are derived from the little details—the colour of the sky, a scene in a movie, watching television on a sofa, or the way a window looked when you turned your head.

Acknowledgements:

My mom is the very first person to have my deepest thanks for giving me the great support to get my first book published. Also, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Ms. Echo Liu, my publisher, who guided me through publishing my first- ever book and poetry collection and made this book a reality. Many thanks to my cat, for inspiring several of my poems. At least three of the poems in this book would not exist without my cat. To conclude, I would like to thank my friends for being ghosts in one of the pictures.
